Policy Service and Claims Letter & Check
Client: Large Insurance and Financial Services Company
Project Description:
As a part of insurance service, the client needs to send thousands of letters per day to their customers and agents. Earlier these letters were created by client's custom code in 'Mantis' programming language. These letters were developed over time, as business needed them. They lacked consistency and some of them looked quite unprofessional.
The client was looking for a Turn Key solution to replace the current print solution. The goal was to create a streamlined print solution, which would produce consistent and professional looking letters, easy to upgrade and require minimum system change in case client decides to go for third party printing of letters and checks.
Technology Involved:
IBM print solution (AFP & OGL) is used for creating letter layout including Company Logo, Footer and Graphics. Stream weaver tool from Pitney Bowes Company is used to pre-sort the letters, print Post-Net1 barcode and OMR barcode on the letters.
